Our 44,000 square foot facility is located in Ithaca, NY. We're in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region, close to the lakes, gorges, state parks and wineries that make upstate New York such a beautiful place.

We're also close to Rochester, the world's center for imaging technology. EMF is an active member of the Rochester Regional Photonics Cluster, a group of over 40 companies engaged in the optics industry.

Ithaca is home to Cornell University, Ithaca College, the Sciencenter and opening in 2003, the Museum of the Earth. Our community of 65,000 year-round residents and 35,000 students enjoys a wide range of outdoor activities, cultural events, theatres and restaurants. Our public school system is excellent and opportunities for continuing education abound at local colleges and universities.
